            [0] => Nathalie Tinjod entered the Director General’s Cabinet at ESA Headquarters, Paris, in 1999, after having completed doctoral studies at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. A specialist of geopolitics, multilateralism, defence, and security she was firstly entrusted with the management of information in relation to the ESA decision making process and the Galileo programme. Head of protocol and general affairs for a few years, and in charge of the institutional relations with Member States, she left the Director’s General Cabinet in 2017 to join the European and External Relations Department. She is currently in charge of the relations with Associate members, European Cooperating States, Cooperating States from the EU, and Canada. Earlier trained as an Historian in France where she was born, Nathalie Tinjod acts as ESA Chief Historian and manages the ESA Space History Project.
