[0] => Vyacheslavs Kashcheyevs is a professor of physics at University of Latvia. He holds a Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University (2007) and leads nanoelectronics theory group at University of Latvia since 2013.

Vyacheslavs Kashcheyevs is known for the theory of high-precision on-demand single-electron sources and their applications in fundamental quantum metrology. This work has been recognized by Word economic Forum in 2013. His current research is focused on realizing the quantum advantage in solid-state single-electron devices in collaboration with multiple experimental labs across Europe.
